A graduate of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Julien Ducarroz joined the Orange Group 22 years ago, accumulating a rich and diverse experience in European markets. Julien began his career at Orange Romania in 2007 as a Strategy Director and, starting in 2009, he led the sales, marketing, digital and brand communication teams as Chief Commercial Officer. During his tenure in Romania, he made a significant contribution to the launch of Orange TV and 4G services and strengthened Orange’s brand leadership.

In 2016, Julien was appointed CEO of Orange Moldova, and his achievements in this role included the launch of converged services alongside the acquisition of major cable operators, the cultural transformation of the organization to embrace pro-business attitudes and Agile working methodologies, and the preparation for the implementation of mobile financial services.

Since 2020, Julien has served as the CEO of Orange Poland, and under his leadership, the company launched and implemented the “Grow” growth strategy, which resulted in accelerated financial and commercial outcomes and the consolidation of Orange Poland’s market position. Additionally, the FiberCo JV project, a reference project, expanded the footprint of fiber optics and contributed to addressing digital exclusion. Over the past three years, Orange Poland has become the leading provider of smart city solutions in the country and strengthened its position in the wholesale market. The company has also achieved key environmental objectives, reaching its target of 65% of energy consumption from renewable sources two years ahead of schedule.
