BIOGRAPHY
Simona David is a Security Researcher within Keysight’s Application and Threat Intelligence Research Center. Simona spends most of her time either trying to reproduce attack techniques in a safe environment or coming up with new vectors of bypassing current protection mechanisms.
Adversary Emulation on Windows
This presentation will focus on Adversary Emulation, mainly on the ways in which we can automate and emulate the techniques used commonly in the wild by malicious actors, as closely as possible while not introducing any risk to the infrastructure.
Leveraging data from MITRE ATT&CK and open-source cyber threat intelligence, we simulate the tactics, techniques and procedures that an attacker would use against an organization. The purpose of Adversary Emulation is to validate the performance of existing security solutions and the risk and exposure of the organization.
