Join the Global Cybersecurity Camp (GCC)
DefCamp proudly represents Romania at the Global Cybersecurity Camp (GCC), marking a historic milestone as the first European member!
GCC is an annual international week-long cybersecurity talent development camp that hosts around 50 students annually. Leading cybersecurity communities and institutes from Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, India, and Indonesia send students for the event.
GCC aims to facilitate collaborations among cybersecurity institutions all around the world to boost the quality of education and research and grow global cybersecurity talents.
Global Cybersecurity Camp (GCC) 2026 will be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from March 2nd to March 6th, 2026.

As a proud member of the GCC, DefCamp will continue the mission to select up to three Romanian students to participate in GCC. Travel and accommodation costs for the selected students will be fully covered.
Eligibility criteria:
- be involved in the cybersecurity community;
- have experience in the field;
- want to give back to the infosec community.
