Engineer Military Technical Academy
BIOGRAPHY
I graduated from the Military Technical Academy in 2018 with a BA in computer engineering. My BA thesis was about a new quantum encryption scheme that I have published in an international journal. I am an IBM Q certified researcher and I have been working on the IBM Q platform since it was launched in 2016. I am passionate about cryptography and I do research in this area. Until now, I have published three research papers on cryptography and quantum cryptography. Currently I am an MSc student at Military Technical Academy where I teach labs on multimedia technologies.
How to implement a quantum key distribution protocol on IBM’s quantum computer (a practical example of quantum programming)
In this paper, we will show how to implement the BB84 quantum key distribution protocol on IBM’s quantum computer using qiskit. The paper presents the concepts of a qubit, quantum gate and quantum computation by analogy with classical computation. We will also present the quantum information software development kit (qiskit) and how the theoretical concepts can be applied in the programming of a quantum computer.
