Mircea is a Principal Software Engineer in Ixia, a Keysight Business. He has been with Ixia for 13 years contributing in the software development of different projects.

Driven by a passion for tech and looking for opportunities to raise expertise, he has moved up and down the stack over the years and developed C# windows middle-ware software, C++ Linux user space networking protocols, low level C/C++ visibility equipment software and for the last couple of years switched to front-end Angular web applications. In his spare time he likes to tinker with Arduino and even built a Turkish coffee brewer. He is also the parent of an eleven years old wonderful daughter and this comes with the responsibility of protection in the online world.

Regardless of the species, parents need to take care of their young ones, make sure they are not exposed to high risk situations and can always cry for help. It is the basic need for safety. Traditionally this is achieved by imposing restrictions to the playground area, having an adult or elder brother/sister around and being in the reach in case of danger. New devices came along that offer tempting features for keeping children safe: cellular phones with parental control features, tracking devices, wrist watches with GPS tracking and phone functionality.
