DefCamp is the largest and most influential hacking and cybersecurity conference in Central and Eastern Europe. Since 2011, we’ve built a powerhouse ecosystem where over 2,000 global experts, researchers, and ethical hackers meet anually to push the boundaries of infosec.

Now, we are preparing for DefCamp 2026 and we want the venue to be as groundbreaking as the research on stage.

That is why we are looking for a Graphic Designer / Large Format Specialist who can think both in meters and pixels!

We’re talking about a massive physical landscape: giant stage backdrops, hanging mesh banners, and intricate signage that defines the entire venue.

THE MISSION

🔵 architect the landscape: create the visual concepts for DefCamp’s outdoor branding

🔵 master large format: design for scale, ensuring perfect composition, typography balance, and legibility at massive dimensions

🔵 technical pre-press: handle the “heavy hardware” of print (bleeds, safe areas, CMYK/Pantone) so your vision survives the press perfectly

🔵 material adaptation: tailor designs to specific substrates (mesh, backlit, vinyl, textile) considering how they react to light and space

WHAT YOU BRING

🔵 the portfolio: proven experience in large-format projects that demonstrate both creative flair and technical execution

🔵 technical accuracy: deep understanding of vector-based workflows, DPI optimization for viewing distances, and print-ready file preparation

🔵 expert software skills: advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

🔵 artistic eye: a strong grasp of color theory, grid systems, and a modern typography that fits the DefCamp aesthetic
