BIOGRAPHY
Andrei started his career back in 2004 working for the “Romanian Government” where, for 11 years, he did things he can neither confirm, nor deny. Almost 8 years ago his career took a turn for… the private sector in Secureworks where he is proud to have helped build one of the largest and strongest Cybersecurity communities in Romania.
In his current role, as Director of Advanced Analysis in the Global Operations organization he is responsible for the service delivery of the new ManagedXDR Elite Threat Hunting service, as well for the awesome L3 security team delivering Digital Forensics, Threat Intelligence, and Industrial Control Systems security capabilities for our top tier customers.
The Secret Sauce(s) of Cybersecurity Operations
Having the privilege of being part of the team that has helped build north of 30 Security Analysis / Operations programs for the most challenging of customers, Andrei has captured during the years some secret ingredients that form the foundation of successful security programs.
This talk will be focused on five real, specific cases (albeit anonymized) that had various outcomes, some good and some.. less so. And, as the saying goes, “Experience is what you get, when you don’t get what you want”, there was a lot of experience to be gained
(Oh, and I know that this is vague, but that is sort of the point ☺ )
While this is not the most technical of talks, we hope that the cases that will be discussed will prove useful for you as cybersecurity professionals, managers and decision-makers.
